Background information about Study Tours
The study tour participants are provided opportunities to meet with their professional counterparts in China to discuss China's national, provincial and municipal educational systems and the pressing educational reform issues that mirror many of the challenges facing Michigan and U.S. educators. The delegation members are also able to visit model pre-K, elementary, middle/junior and secondary schools and their affiliated university programs. Participants also meet with some of China's premier educational research and professional development institutions and technology corporations.
